RB1 was created from practical experience across the construction industry and a belief that compliance should support projects rather than complicate them.

With over 25 years' experience spanning construction delivery, Building Surveying, Principal Designer services and construction compliance, RB1 brings together practical consultancy and digital tools to help organisations develop clear, proportionate compliance systems.

The aim isn't to replace existing ways of working, but to support them. Whether that's helping with project compliance, developing organisational procedures or providing a simple digital platform to manage information, the focus remains the same—practical solutions that work in the real world.

Alongside consultancy, this website also provides access to industry guidance and resources that I regularly use and recommend. Construction is constantly evolving, and sharing knowledge is just as important as providing services.
